Redskins season ends with a dud
The Washington Redskins saw what was once a promising season end as a dud in a 34-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The loss was marred by yet more mental mistakes, especially a couple of things that happened right before halftime and cost Washington a scoring opportunity.
Wide receiver Santana Moss decided to take his helmet off to argue with an official, costing the Redskins 15 valuable yards when they were inside the Philadelphia 10-yard line..
The team then didn’t leave enough time on the clock to kick a field goal at the end of the half, watching as the clock hit zero before they could get off the three-point attempt.
It was just more of the same from Washington, which has to be wondering why it is spending $7 million per year on Mike Shanahan with all of the mental mistakes that continue to occur.
