Redskins re-sign Brown
The Washington Redskins have re-signed tackle Jamaal Brown to a five-year contract as they continue to work on solidifying the offensive line.
The Redskins picked up Brown from the New Orleans Saints last year and were pleased with how he performed as the starting left tackle.
He certainly isn’t the start that he was expected to be coming out of college and being selected in the first round, but he seems to have established himself as a solid NFL player.
Brown joins a Redskins offensive line that will look different than the one he played on last year. The team cut Casey Rabach and signed Chris Chester, so there will be a learning curve for this group.
The Redskins have been one of the most active teams in free agency so far and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
