The Washington Redskins will give running back Larry Johnson the start in their second preseason game.
Clinton Portis got the start in the first game against the Buffalo Bills and had six carries for 22 yards.
The Redskins want to give the veteran Johnson a long look against a first team defense, and what better chance than against the fearsome Ravens.
Another veteran running back, Willie Parker, did not play in the first preseason game but could get a start before the regular season opener. ( Read More…)

Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth finally made it through a full practice.
Haynesworth missed a week’s worth of practices because of a bad knee and the inability to pass the conditioning test.
He was finally able to pass the test, allowing him to take the field with the rest of his teammates.
Despite an offseason that angered many players and fans, Haynesworth seems pretty happy. ( Read More…)
